KMD is closely affiliated with Compson Associates, a multi-generational developer, owner and property manager founded in 1946 and based in Boca Raton, Florida. KMD will invest directly into Compson deals as well as into equity joint ventures and/or debt structures with highly-qualified sponsors.

Eric McGlynn

Eric McGlynn – Founder, Managing Partner & CEO

Mr. McGlynn is focused is on sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities and managing fund operations. He has 22 years of experience in raising equity and debt capital for commercial real estate investment and development across the United States, with 15 years on the ground in South Florida and 5 years in Portland, Oregon. He has been directly involved in the placement of more than $7 billion of equity and debt encompassing over 57,000 residential units and 17 million square feet of commercial space. Mr. McGlynn currently serves as Chief Investment Officer at Moda Homes, a Chicago-based land developer, homebuilder, and property manager.

Bobby D'Angelo

Robert D’Angelo – Founder & Managing Partner


Mr. D’Angelo is focused on deal sourcing, investor relations, and oversight of leasing, marketing and sales activities at KMD. He has over 20 years of real estate development and marketing experience, handling all aspects of acquisitions, marketing & sales and operations for Compson. Mr. D’Angelo currently manages all facets of asset management for all Compson-owned real estate holdings. In addition, Mr. D’Angelo oversees the day-to-day management of all the additional revenue streams for Compson, which include Concierge Property Solutions, Compson’s management team Phoenix, Compson’s Service team and Compson Homes.

Carl Klepper – Founder & Managing Partner

Mr. Klepper is focused on deal sourcing, investor relations, and oversight of development, construction and financing activities at KMD. He has been in real estate development for over 26 years, overseeing all aspects of development, finance, asset management, maintenance and brokers for Compson. Mr. Klepper, along with a staff of approximately 80 people, run over 60 single-asset affiliates from New York State down the Eastern Seaboard to Florida Mr. Klepper has completed thousands of multifamily units, condos, shopping centers, self-storage units and free-standing retail and office projects.
